A Close Call For Ellen!

Wasn't the long weekend great? Now, there are no more holidays for quite awhile.



We were out running errands on Saturday. When we got back to Ellen's, we began unloading the car. Ellen was getting some things out of the back seat of Sharon's car when the wind blew the door and started it on a course for Ellen's eye socket!

Bless her heart! Thank God she was wearing her glasses! As you can see, the corner of the car door was dangerously close to her eyeball.

Poor thing, her lips started quivering. She has been especially hard on her face this year. Remember? She fell on Sharon's driveway at the beginning of the year.

She is feeling better, and it will probably take a few weeks for the bruise to heal up. In the meantime, make-up covers lots of things! God bless whoever invented the magic of liquid cover-up!!
