A Flowerful Weekend!
Hello, Everybody!
The time just seems to fly by. It is hard to believe that we are already in the last half of April. Ellen went back to her home on Sunday. Oh, my, Sharon already misses her. She will continue to come early each morning to help Sharon get dressed and ready for the day of therapy, doctors' appointments, etc.
This first picture was taken of us on Easter Sunday morning. It was great to be able to go to church and see all of the little kids dressed up in their Easter clothes. Church was packed. Standing room only--as usual. The weather was beautiful this weekend. Our cold weather is just about over. We each bought a Hibiscus tree! (Like we needed another Hibiscus plant!) Sam's Club had them. We love the woven trunks and for the price, we couldn't pass them up. We were able to transplant them into bigger pots.
These are two cabbage plants that were in three inch pots when we first got them. Neither of us has ever grown a cabbage before. If we are able to have a couple of nice heads, we'll bring the cole-slaw for dinner!!

I love the secretary day gifts!! This is the first year I have not had a secretary to buy for in a very long time... but you just reminded me that I should send my "old" secretary a message tomorrow!! :o)
Happy Spring!
It looks like you had a very nice Easter. The plants are beautiful. I miss Sam's club! I miss everyone in El Paso! Please say "hello" to Ada and Susan for me. Have a good week!
