Spring Break Pictures!

Hello, Everybody!

As we write this post, it is tainted with a little sadness that Spring Break is over. If you will remember, our last post promised pictures. Here they are. This first one is of the lunch we had in the little park upon arrival in Ruidoso. You see a ham sandwich with potato salad, cole slaw, and chips.
One of our very favorite places to visit is this little shop, End of the Vine. We always go there to get a bottle of Willmon Chardonnay, and that wonderful World's Best Cornbread.

Another of our favorite stores is this one called, "Steppin' Out." You can guess what they sell. Kelli, you would have loved this place!
Here is a picture of the view out of our hotel window.
This picture we took because it shows the king-sized bed. It was so high off of the floor, we were afraid that we would fall out at night and hurt ourselves. Actually, Sharon had to take a running start and leap into it!!
The next picture shows Ellen's new Weber Grill. She got it at Lowe's on Saturday. We were fortunate enough to be able to buy one already put together. Then we had to borrow Paul's truck to get it to Ellen's. We MADE it without incident!
Here it it is!
And here is Chef Ellen standing with her new purchase.
And this is a picture of our first meal cooked on it. Can you tell we love shrimp, grilled veggies, and a bread stick?
We hope you had an enjoyable Spring Break. The only problem with ours is that it passed way too fast. Ellen LOVED sleeping late in the mornings, and then LOVED keeping Sharon from her afternoon naps! Hmm, perhaps Sharon is NOT so sad to see Spring Break come to an end!
As a postscript, we would like to add a little bit about Sharon's hands. We knew that her hands would really hurt, and look just awful because of the topical chemotherapy. Well, they really hurt and they look just awful, don't you think? She goes back to the hand surgeon on Tuesday. It will be interesting to hear what he thinks.

Have a wonderful week! Until next time... . . . . .

Thats a fancy and pretty new grill! What a nice treat! Hope those hands get to feeling better sometime soon, because they certainly look like they are painful.
