A Happy Heart!

Hello Everybody!


Remember when Sharon had her Stress Test? It was four weeks ago, this past Friday. She was told by the doctor's office staff that he would call when he had all the results. Well, one week went by, and she heard nothing. She called the office to see if they had the results. The tests were not back yet. Another week goes by and Sharon hears nothing. Ellen was not happy and neither was Sharon. So, Sharon calls again. This time she was told, "Oh don't worry, Mrs. Pieplow, we have your chart right here and are just waiting for the results. The doctor will call you." Well, another two weeks goes by, and Sharon calls AGAIN! She reminds them that it has been FOUR weeks since the test. Doesn't that seem like a long time to wait for results?? (After all, we are not talking about socialized medicine, here!) We were beginning to think that they could not find the studies! They promise to find out about it and let her know. About two hours later, THEY ACTUALLY CALLED BACK!!

The findings: All chambers of the heart are working as they should. There is no damage to the heart muscle and the main arteries are free of blockage. They faxed a copy of the report to Sharon at the school.


We did a little happy heart dance and shed a few tears of relief!!

So, we are going to take that happy heart out of town for a few days during spring break and celebrate! We are counting down the days.
